Previously recorded as Lot 53 in the Alfred W. Paine Book Catalog, described there as four paintings on mulberry paper Presented by Tingqua, and dated circa 1833
An old catalog description is affixed to verso The pieces present well overall. Saturation is very good. Undulation to all. All have a fold creases. Several have repaired vertical cuts. Some foxing and pin holes. Some have scratch loss to paint. One with full diagonal repair with inpainting and creasing.
